A growing world-wide demand for Riviera’s luxury boats has encouraged Australia’s favourite and most awarded luxury boat builder to go in search of more master craftsmen.

Riviera’s general manager Scott Cumming said that right now the company was looking for highly skilled and experienced boat builders and cabinet makers to fulfil 14 positions.

“This is an exciting time to join Riviera as the company continues to expand and introduce new models into its world-class range,” he said.

“We are looking for driven individuals with trade qualifications in boat building or cabinet making or demonstrated boat building experience, excellent hand tool skills and machinery experience, a strong understanding of safe work practices, the ability to adhere to strict production deadlines, a positive attitude, an aptitude for team work and a strong eye for detail.

“In the interest of providing a healthy and safe workplace, our recruitment and selection process includes a pre-employment medical and drug screen to ensure our future team members are in good health and capable of manual labour,” Mr Cumming said.

“We offer a professional and supportive work environment based at Riviera’s 14-hectare Coomera facility, the largest of its type in the Southern Hemisphere.”

Riviera’s chairman and owner Rodney Longhurst said there certainly was a proud and enthusiastic atmosphere at Riviera’s manufacturing facility.

“Eighty-five per cent of the boats we are building right now are 50 feet and over, and 55 per cent of our annual production is sold to overseas owners. These two facts alone demonstrate that our team have the skills and commitment to create luxury boats equal to anywhere in the world,” he said.

“We increased our team back in April in line with the growing international and domestic demand for Riviera’s luxury boats and our increasing forward order bank. We now have more than 400 people onsite at Coomera and we look forward to expanding our team further in the future as we head into our busy boat show season with further sales at upcoming boat shows in Cannes, Newport Rhode Island, Barcelona, Auckland, Mandurah, Fort Lauderdale and closer to home, our own Gold Coast International Marine Expo held at the Riviera facility and Gold Coast City Marina from October 17 to 19.”

Riviera’s 400-strong team are dedicated to delivering on the company’s promise of creating ‘the ultimate boating experience’ for Riviera owners. With a dealer network spanning 60 countries including the Americas, Dubai, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, there is a growing global demand for Riviera and Belize boats and a world of opportunity for the Riviera team.
