AUSTRALIA’S LEADING BOAT SHARE EXPERIENCE

Gold Coast – Brisbane – Sydney – Airlie Beach – Hamilton Island

For more than 17 years, BSA has been redefining boating ownership in Australia, providing an innovative and cost-effective way for boating enthusiasts to enjoy luxury vessels without the expense and responsibilities of sole ownership. Today, BSA proudly stands as Australia’s largest boat share company, operating across multiple premier boating destinations and helping hundreds of owners enjoy more time on the water.

At BSA our philosophy is simple: boating should be about enjoyment, relaxation, and creating unforgettable memories not maintenance, administration, or logistics. That’s why our owners benefit from a true “walk-on, walk-off” luxury boating experience.

Every vessel in the BSA fleet is professionally managed and maintained to the highest standards. Owners simply arrive at the marina, step aboard their beautifully presented vessel, and enjoy their time on the water. Once their trip is complete, they step off and leave the rest to us. From cleaning and maintenance to servicing and marina management, every detail is taken care of by our experienced team.

One of the key advantages of the BSA model is our personalised and equitable booking system. Ownership days are carefully allocated to ensure fair access for all owners throughout the year, including weekends, public holidays, and peak boating periods. This balanced approach allows every owner to maximise their enjoyment while maintaining flexibility. To ensure every owner feels confident, capable, and safe on the water, each new owner receives a comprehensive two-day vessel training program before their first booking. This hands-on training is tailored to the specific vessel they have purchased into and covers vessel operation, handling, docking, onboard systems, and safety procedures.

This program not only provides owners with the skills and confidence to enjoy their boating experience from day one but also helps maintain the highest standards of safety across the fleet. Owners can take comfort in knowing that every fellow owner has completed the same professional training, ensuring vessels are operated responsibly and cared for to the highest standard.

A 10% share provides owners with 33 days of boating per year, divided into three four-month trimesters. Within each trimester, owners receive 11 days of boating access. A 12.5% share provides 42 days per year, equating to 15 days per trimester. Larger share allocations provide even greater access, allowing owners to tailor their boating lifestyle to their individual needs.

In addition to allocated ownership days, BSA owners can also take advantage of standby days. These additional days become available when vessels are not otherwise booked, providing owners with valuable extra boating opportunities throughout the year at no additional cost.

Another feature that sets BSA apart is our highly valued Location Swap Program. Owners have the flexibility to exchange their allocated days with owners of similar-sized vessels across BSA’s locations in Sydney, the Gold Coast and Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays. This unique benefit allows BSA owners to experience the iconic waterways of Sydney Harbour, the vibrant boating lifestyle of the Gold Coast and the world-renowned cruising in the Whitsundays all within the one ownership program with BSA. The result is greater variety, increased flexibility and access to some of Australia’s most spectacular and sought after boating destinations without the commitment of owning multiple vessels.

To further enhance the ownership experience, BSA offers a range of optional concierge-style services. Professional skippers can be arranged for owners who prefer to relax and enjoy the journey or entertain guests without the responsibility of operating the vessel. Catering and provisioning services are also available, ensuring food, beverages, and supplies are stocked and ready prior to departure. BSA offer our owners exclusive access to our fleet of 6 to 8m tenders available in each of our locations. Owners are able to use these tenders on the days they don’t have their boat booked which allows them more time out on the water to enjoy the BSA boating lifestyle.

At BSA, we don’t just share boats and their costs, we share a boating lifestyle.
