BRIG it on! 2020 Events

Sirocco Marine North is ready and raring to go, with a stellar line-up planned for SCIBS and an even bigger and better ‘Brig Day Out’ on the Broadwater.

Specialists in outboard, jet drive and amphibious recreational and commercial rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), Sirocco Marine North has been a fixture on the boating scene for 16 years, relocating from Sydney’s Pittwater to the Gold Coast in 2008.

With Dylan Lopez at the helm, the professional team at SMN are leaders in their segment, showcasing the world’s highest selling RIB brand, BRIG, which features more than 30 models from three to 10 metres, and spanning every application, from chase boat to highly-specced weekender.

Other brands in their line-up include Williams, Sirocco and Sealegs amphibious vessels, complemented by the full range of Honda engines, boasting the industry’s leading 7-year warranty.

The Sirocco Marine North showroom is located in the heart of the Coomera Marine Precinct, setting the standard for marine retail, with the BRIG service centre nearby at Runaway Bay. Owners have the confidence of around the clock service and support, including 24/7 live chat function.

“Owning a BRIG is more than a purchase, it offers access to a lifestyle that is full of benefits and events that bring the BRIG brand to life,” explains director Dylan Lopez.

“Our owners enjoy all the value-adds of our BRIG membership program, such as tickets to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, BRIG Safari and BRIG Day Out, VIP loan boats, invitations to charity golf events and Pitt Lane, access for the offshore super boats, among many other advantages.”

At SCIBS 2020, Sirocco Marine North is planning the largest on-land display, which will include a sensational 40 vessel line-up. Launching in 2020 are the Brig Eagle 350, Eagle 4 and Eagle 5, new-generation models in the Brig luxury sport range.

“The Eagle 350, 4 and 5 cater to mother ships from 45 to 70-feet,” explains Dylan. “And the Eagle 4 and 5 are great entry level family-friendly sport RIBs that can be easily trailered and stowed, or stored on a floating dock system at your waterfront property.

“Our BRIG aftermarket service caters to every option including electrical, trimming, covers, docking, trailers and more. BRIG Queensland offers a customisation solution that spans everything from custom colours and styling for gel coat, tubing, fabric, upholstery, deck, console and seats, to meet your individual preferences and totally personalise your BRIG.”

BRIG CEO Slava Rodionov will travel from the Ukraine headquarters to attend SCIBS 2020, and he is looking forward to meeting and mingling with owners and newcomers to the brand. Visitors to SCIBS 2020 can go in the running to win a Sirocco 220 super-Lite tender, a 2.2-metre RIB tender with a cover, pump and oars, enter at either of the Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard stands.

And of course, the legendary BRIG white Fedora hats will be back this year, available at the Sirocco Marine North stand on Masthead Way.

Following the boat show, the 2020 Brig Day Out will run over two massive days, 30 and 31 May. This sensational raft-up on Wavebreak Island showcases the most popular models in the Eagle and Navigator ranges, as well as selected Sealegs amphibious craft.

BRIG owners and those wishing to experience the ‘BRIG difference’ can immerse themselves in on-water fun on the Gold Coast’s picturesque Broadwater. There will be a DJ to provide the tunes, catering from Garage Twenty5 and plenty of activities for the kids.
