Outboard propulsion -elegantly designed

British design, German shipbuilding precision and maximum performance: these are the characteristics that define the luxury motor yachts from SEALINE.

It was 1972 and the famous British aircraft engineer, Tom Murrant, decided to buy a motor yacht. But because he couldn’t find the boat of his dreams, he decided to build his own. His idea was to take the loft-inspired lifestyle out onto the open seas. SEALINE has been at the forefront of innovation ever since and has become one of the world’s leading pioneers in the yacht-building industry.

The brand was acquired by Hanse Yachts AG in 2013, and their product range is now among the most modern available. The design and essence of the SEALINE boats have been stunningly evolved by the celebrated British yacht designer, Bill Dixon, who has been responsible for the elegant lines that characterise SEALINE’s yachts in the years since the acquisition. Customers can currently choose from three different series comprising a total of eleven models ranging in size from 33 to 53 feet. The latest additions are the C335v and C335 in early 2021, along with the redesigned C390v, an outboard powered alternative to the hugely popular C390 inboard. As a sign of its success, SEALINE has doubled its revenue over the past four financial years.

Whatever size and model you look at, all SEALINE models are distinguished by bright interiors, optimal space usage and functional design. SEALINE pulls out all the stops in the art of shipbuilding to create a bright atmosphere and allow as much light as possible into the interior, so sailors can enjoy unobstructed panoramic windows, floor-toceiling windows, skylights, large hull windows and electric sunroofs. From the initial sketch to the final blueprint, each SEALINE is designed to make the most of the space available and is finished to a standard that is a clear step-up from other boats in its class.

Whether in the size of the beds or the amount of headroom or storage space, SEALINE frequently sets the standards for the top brands worldwide in the respective size classes. To free up even more space, SEALINE boats feature a whole host of innovative details such as movable seating groups and reclining areas, swivel backrests and retractable tables. Each SEALINE yacht is designed to fulfil the very highest standards of performance, seaworthiness, comfort and safety on board.

SEALINE currently offers three series: Cruiser, Flybridge and Sport. The Cruiser series features enclosed helm positions and superb indooroutdoor entertaining across the C335, C390, C430 and C530 models which are arguably the bestsuited to Queensland conditions. They combine flexibility, space and luxury ambience in an outstanding way. The Sports series all feature the same hulls and propulsion options as the Cruiser and Flybridge versions, but with a more open-plan and deck-focussed layout with less interior volume, a sportier profile and more expansive exterior entertaining spaces. Thanks to their additional, elevated helms, the two Flybridge F430 and F530 yachts are extremely spacious on deck and offer a majestic all-round view.

In the newly launched C335 and C335v models, the customer has the choice between single or twin inboard diesel engines with, up to 440hp and a maximum speed of 31 knots or twin petrol outboard engines with a total of 600hp and a 40 knots top speed. The entire interior design of the two family cruisers has been redesigned to make the available space smarter than ever before at 33 feet. Product manager, Andrea Zambonini, states, “Our ambition was to equip the C335 and C335v with the comfort of a 36-foot yacht.” The C390 model is also available with either twin inboard diesels or as the C390v with twin outboards, and has up to three large double cabins, which offer clients complete choice in their specification for the boat.

Whichever model of SEALINE you choose, the marque benefits from the local Queensland support and the impressive after-sales service that Sealine distributor Windcraft is renowned for.
