HOW DOES A MARINE WATER MAKER WORK?
Water makers work using a process called reverse osmosis (RO) – sea water is pumped through a semipermeable RO membrane and under high pressure fresh pure water is separated from impurities like salt, minerals and chemicals.
HOW WILL I KNOW THAT THE WATER PRODUCED IS GOOD TO USE?
To ease your mind, every system is supplied with an electronic TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) Meter. This meter gives an instant reading of the water quality measured in parts per million. Anything under 500 Parts Per Millions is fresh, pure water.
