PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Over the past 30 years, RTM has forged sound relationships with many professional industry colleagues and can assemble and manage a project team to conduct all required works within your refit or maintenance period. By having your yard period aligned by RTM prior to your arrival, RTM can offer assurance of project timelines and budgets, without extensive delays once arriving at the yard.
Recent projects have seen varied scenarios where RTM coordinated the setup of the project with the clients, took full responsibility of the management role, extending to the final handover of the yacht, and departure. Alternatively, RTM has coordinated, the project set up with the clients & crew, aligned trades prior to the yacht arriving to the yard, conducted a smooth handover to the Master and crew of the project, then engaged in an advisory role offering the clients consulting services and providing local knowledge concerning trades, suppliers, and the like.

RTM, owned and operated by marine professionals Rod and Renee Twitchin, specialise in delivering the highest quality marine surveys and professional services. Their expertise extends to vessels of all types and sizes, from smaller boats to larger superyachts.
While Renee has a sound sailing background racing Skiffs in Sydney when growing up, the marine industry has been business owner Rod Twitchin’s main working platform since his apprenticeship in 1984. Rod’s first formal accreditation was in 1993 to skipper smaller vessels, then Engineer, Ships Master, & Commercial Surveyor. He also has a Certification in Vessel Valuations, a Trade Certificate in Mechanics, Open Water Diver, and shore-based positions as general manager and project manager of large refit & repair companies, making Rod perfect for just about any job that involves handling, inspecting, or repairing vessels.
