DRYSTACK FACILITIES:

The Scarborough Marina has Brisbane region’s newest undercover drystack. A drystack boat storage is the modern way of boating, doing away with most of the hassles. No more queuing and having to back down busy boat ramps; the service does away with the need to own a boat trailer and a heavy towing vehicle. It is ideal for those new to boating and for single operators who would otherwise need a helping hand. To schedule a launch time, simply use the phone app, or call the marina. The experienced staff will put your boat on the water with the marine forklift, and your boat will be ready at the pontoon when you arrive. Simply step on and enjoy your boating. When you return, use the phone app, or again call the marina to request a put-away. The marina staff will rinse the hull, and an engine flushing service is available before putting your boat securely away under cover. The drystack service complements the modern busy life-style, allowing boating for those living in apartments or on small blocks.

Scarborough Marina has a well-equipped modern boatyard able to handle a large range of boat services. The hardstand has been built to high environmental standards with a fully concreted apron throughout. The skilled hardstand operators will help guide or tow your vessel into our Travelift bay. Your vessel will be lifted, pressure-washed and then stood ready for either you or your chosen trades to get to work. Suitable sized powerboats can be moved by the marine fork lift and placed on cradles in the hardstand. There is a 35-tonne Travel lift, 10-tonne marine forklift, 2.5-tonne hardstand forklift, tow boat service, lift and hold service, water blasting service and screened work pens.
