The all-new 2021 Clipper Hudson Bay 470 combines our proven semi-displacement cruising hull with a sleek and spacious one-level entertainer.
All the features you want in your next motor yacht are here! They include a midship master cabin with an island bed looking out through oversized midship portholes, separate ensuite shower and toilet amenities, and a second cabin with twin single beds and ensuite bathroom including a separate shower.
The sedan layout allows for the outdoors to be connected to the saloon and galley, with large opening rear stainless doors and a hopper window that opens to the cockpit. The raised helm position and starboard side opening door allows for excellent cruising vision and access to the side decks for berthing and marina access.
Our proven blue-water keeled Cordova hull comfortably cruises on a plane at 16 knots. Being powered by twin Volvo 435HP D6 diesel engines with joystick control, it will reach a sprint speed of over 21 knots (estimated) for bar crossings and to deal with approaching bad weather conditions. However, if you want economical long-range cruising, this motor yacht will travel at 8 knots sipping the fuel at around 26 litres-per-hour combined (estimated).
Clipper has combined walk-around decks, sunroof, opening sliding door on the starboard side, along with cockpit rear-seating with a gorgeous gloss teak table to complement those long lunches at anchor with friends and family. This vessel includes a hydraulic platform, 360-degree joystick docking system and twin Garmin 12 inch plotter screens.
The design focus of the aft deck and cockpit for entertaining allows for a huge covered area which can be enclosed with breezeway or clears to make a great/indoor/outdoor area superb for entertaining at anchor.
