KGM MUSSO WINS THE DRIVE AND WHEELS BEST DUAL CAB UTE UNDER $50K

The KGM Musso has been crowned Drive Car of the Year – Best Dual-Cab Ute under $50K for 2025, following its win in 2024 for a back-to-back result. Consolidating this dominance, it was also recently awarded Wheels Best Dual-Cab Ute Under $50K.

Since its arrival in 2019, under the newly established, factory-backed Australian subsidiary — the first outside its home country of South Korea — the Musso has received continual applause from Australian consumers. With one of the largest load and interior spaces in the market, the Musso is a compelling product with a solid reputation.

After months of testing and assessment, the experts at Drive judged the Musso as the “clear and worthy winner.” Drive’s Director of Content, James Ward, said, “The KGM Musso is proof that ute buyers looking for value don’t need to miss out on equipment, space, comfort or refinement.”

KGM National Marketing Manager Steve Dimitrovski celebrated the Musso’s recognition as an increasingly popular choice for Australian consumers — drawn by its renowned quietness on the road and levels of interior refinement usually associated with premium SUVs.

Mr Dimitrovski said, “We are thrilled with the announcements and proud to bring a quality Korean-built dual cab ute to the Australian market.

“Musso owners are some of the most informed buyers, recognising the Musso’s build quality and capability — and it’s great to get the validation from the experts at Drive.”

The KGM Musso is backed by a 7-Year Unlimited Km Warranty, including commercial use — a unique offering in this category. It’s also supported by a 5-Year Roadside Assistance Program.
