C Worthy Marine & Bayliner head to The Boat Works

C Worthy Marine is the latest addition to the retinue of more than 40 marine professionals to be based at The Boat Works at Coomera on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The thriving business has moved from its former site on Waterways Drive to occupy a custom-built Showroom and service workshop at The Boat Works.

With four marine mechanics on the team, C Worthy has handled the servicing and repairs, antifoul and polishing of all their clients’ boats at The Boat Works for the past eight years. “It made sense to relocate to The Boat Works, the amazing facilities that are on offer, and now with our very own purpose-built showroom to showcase our Bayliner boats.”

C Worthy is a full-service company providing mechanical diagnostics, repairs, servicing, antifouling and detailing, and is the south-east Queensland headquarters for Bayliner Boats.

“Our service includes spare parts, mobile service vehicles, engineers who are marine qualified and trained, re-builds to re-powers, antifouls, pre-purchase inspections through to managing complete refurbishments and total vessel management,” said director, Cameron Ward. “We also deal with all insurance work that is required for your boat and can offer competitive insurance quotes.”

On the street front, the impressive modern sales showroom is home to the full range of Bayliner Boats, versatile, US-built vessels that are ideal for family boating, fishing and other watersports. “They are a great all-rounder,” says Cam, who has represented the brand since 2011. “Bayliner makes modern, user-friendly boats that are extremely good value and offer the best warranty in their class”

Currently on display are nine boats, and Cam plans to raise that number to 13 in time for summer. “One of the current models of Bayliner boast a new M-design hull that offers greater stability, large beam throughout for more space up front and a fantastic range of options, from hull colours to skiing and fishing accessories.”

Of particular note is the brand new Bayliner Element 16ft day boat, a family-focused boat with high sides, seats and bow sunpad, the full complement of safety gear onboard, with 75hp Mercury, trailer and registration for a competitive $33,990.

There’s also the new F16 and F18 centre console fishing version with multiple horse power options.

Born and bred on the Gold Coast, Cam is an enthusiastic proponent of the boating lifestyle.

“There’s nothing better than to get out on your boat with your family and enjoy relaxing days on the water. The week’s stresses melt away and you make memories for a lifetime.”

C Worthy is hosting a special Open Day, Saturday 2 September, inviting the public to experience the full range of Bayliner boats, as well as an amazing ‘Show & Shine’ style line-up by Bayliner boat owners.

“It’s the Father’s Day weekend and when the sun’s out, families head out to enjoy the fantastic Gold Coast lifestyle. There will be a sausage sizzle raising money for Sailability, jumping castle, face painting, Doug Burt’s tackle, plenty to see and we can match you up with the boat to suit your family.”
