LEIGH-SMITH YACHTS DELIVER SUPERYACHT TO JOIN CHARTER FLEET

Leigh-Smith Yachts have represented the buyer of a superyacht Jade 95, a 28.47-metre expedition motor yacht. Ryan Leigh-Smith worked in conjunction with the seller’s agent, Central Yacht HK, to broker an agreement, overcoming limited access circumstances as the vessel is based in Taiwan. Leigh-Smith Yachts have managed the crew, logistics, insurance and delivery to Australia under her own steam. This Jade 95 will ultimately transition to a class operating expedition char ter yacht in the South Pacific.

Jade 95 was built in Taiwan in 2009. The Jade 95 is a flagship yacht of the Jade Shipyard, built from steel hull and aluminium superstructure in at the world-class facility. This yacht was the 8th of only ten yachts built. The construction quality is first class.

The yacht boasts an impressive cruising range of some 3,500nm and has been professionally maintained and run by its owners, with her navigation systems having been continuously upgraded and maintained. .

She has a beam of 7.5m, and a draft of 2.3m. The flybridge features a fully equipped navigation station forward, two informal seating areas, a sun bed area to the aft, barbecue and a bar with stools. The bridge deck is accessed via glass sliding doors from the sky lounge and this covered area is ideal for al fresco dining. This lounge, with its large windows, comfortable seating and bar facilities, makes it a particularly popular area with guests to relax.

Jade 95’s large volume provides ample interior space over her three decks and she can accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins, consisting of a luxurious full-beam master suite on the main deck, and a VIP suite and two doubles on the lower deck. The main saloon features both a spacious lounge area and a formal dining table, and the exterior space has versatile seating arrangements.

The yacht has impressive marble floors and counters and external entertainment areas.

With a classic look and timeless style, and an interior finished to the highest standard with great attention paid to detail, the Jade 95 has a wide charter appeal and is an exciting option for a family looking for adventure on the seas.

Constructed as a tri-deck with a volume similar to that of a 35 metre+ yacht, guests will have access to the large toy/tender garage, and the large top deck for open air entertaining.

Jade 95’s crew quarters have also been carefully considered. Owing to innovative space planning, she offers accommodation for a complement of four with a separate crew mess and service area.

She is powered by two Caterpillar engines, which give her a cruising speed of 10.0 kn and a top speed of 12.0 kn. The yacht carries 38,000 litres of fuel on board, and 6,600 litres of water.
