Robert and Natasha Schob had previously owned a small bowrider, sold it and bought a new Regal 22-foot bowrider! Deciding they needed to update their boat handling skills they engaged Karla Herbert-Evans from Nautical Training & Marine Services, for their refresher vessel handling training and navigation.
Although they were not novices, the sessions still entailed comprehensive training with Karla. “The training was thorough, detailed and fun throughout the sessions. Karla was patient and very detailed with all her training and allowed us to take our time to become conf ident with all aspects of boat handling,” they explained.
While encountering some initial difficulties with docking the boat and manoeuvring the boat on the Broadwater, these were overcome with instruction and practice. Overall, the couple were all praises for Karla for making the training delightful and very educational.
“Our advanced training with Karla was absolutely outstanding. Karla’s professional and knowledgeable expertise makes everything relaxed and enjoyable. Our training covered so much that we hadn’t known or learned previously. We highly recommend Karla for anyone looking to ensure they feel confident and knowledgeable when taking out their boat.”
For Rob and Tash, the highlights were pretty simple. “Getting out onto the Broadwater and having a lot of laughs with Karla.” Sounds like they had fun updating their boating skills!
