Conveniently located at Rivergate Refit Complex, TMQ specialise in providing both boaters and professional mariners with Australian designed and manufactured marine electronics, as well as a range of reputable major brands in communication and navigation systems.
Established in 1974 and nearing their 50th anniversary, TMQ are focused on excellence in customer service and continual innovation.
Their electronics showroom offers boaters the opportunity to get hands on with brands such as Village Marine watermakers (a great option for smaller vessels), JRC radar and fish finders, Glomex VHF and Coastal Wi-Fi antennas and more.
TMQ’s proprietary range includes marine autopilots which provide pro-level features at an economical price point. Best sellers include the AP47C, a compact colour autopilot, and the AP4, a commercial workhorse made for harsh conditions. Other models are available for high speed vessels and superyachts.
TMQ’s own C-PLOT computer-based chart plotter integrates with premium electronic chart leader Navionics to include a vessel data navigational overlay.
More recent expansions to the range include the RAI-V, a touch calibrated rudder angle indicator, and NMEA solutions such as the NET106, an Ethernet network combiner, and the NMEA Buffer, a simple means to include additional NMEA outputs for integration of an even larger array of modern displays and equipment in space-restricted helms.
In addition, TMQ offers an experienced service division which provides project planning for navigation and communication systems, system integration, marine survey, and can assist during upgrades of electronics during refit.
