OKEAN YACHTS

STRIKING DESIGN WITH FOLD-OUT BALCONIES

Manufactured by a Brazil-based shipyard, Okean came to fruition with the specific vision of maximizing what it is to be human with it´s infinite possibilities.

The company develops unique yachts with awe inspiring designs, while keeping efficiency, enchantment, and environmental responsibility on the same level.

The Okean range is designed by Paolo Ferragni, an Italian yacht designer who, in his more than 15 years of experience, has worked in major foreign shipyards, and has won several awards. In his works, he exudes passion and professionalism, from concept to design, through development and construction.

The three Okean models bring versatility and technology authenticity to the sea, making the environment and technology coexist in harmony.

They believe that to navigate is to pursue the infinite. Invite nature to enter through the 360° view, created by side decks that open fully, an essentially premium space, for those who want to make the sea their home.  Okean uses state-of-the-art raw materials, such as Kevlar and carbon fiber which make vessels light, resistant and economical. Differentials such as the infusion process in all parts, including carpentry and upholstery in a verticalised production process ensure safety, comfort, and excellent navigation.

OKEAN 80

Offering a unique, modern and striking design, with large windows, creating multiple living spaces, and its fuel-efficient semi-displacement hull. The main deck is all on the same level, merging the salon and aft deck, which gives an even greater feeling of spaciousness once the sliding glass doors are fully open. The aft deck offers a lounge with a dining table and access to the stern from both sides. In this space, a beach club can be set up, something rarely seen on yachts in this size range.

A rear door opens to reveal a sofa and two armchairs, which can accommodate guests in this area, and this same door still serves as a cover for those who prefer not to be under direct sunlight. Towards the bow, the wide walkways offer safety while walking around the yacht.

Of all of the external areas, one of the biggest highlights of the yacht is certainly the huge flybridge; it has a total width of the beam and a generous 48.5m. It emphasizes the Okean 80’s open-air philosophy and can be divided into five separate areas, with a large lounging area, a full wet bar with sink and refrigerator, a large covered dining table, and the central helm station towards the bow

The Okean 80 has a fantastic navigation, extremely solid and steady, and can sail at 26 knots at full speed. The yacht is equipped with twin engines MAN 1550 HP, and according to the shipyard, at a speed of 18 knots, it has a range of 300 nautical miles. To further improve vessel stability, Okean 80 is equipped with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer. The vessel is 23.9-metre overall length, and 6.05-metre beam (not counting the folding bulwarks), and can carry 5740 litres of fuel, making it ideal for leisure cruising.

OKEAN 50 FLY

The perfect combination between aesthetics and performance with 3 comfortable cabins, Okean gives the feel of a lounge on the sea that provides ample living space and comfortable navigation, with speed and balance combined with significant fuel economy.

The design offers extendable folding balconies which integrate the exterior with the interior, and along with side and aft doors which open completely, create a true terrace on the sea, letting you re-discover new views. Incorporating a carbon-fiber and glass enclosed cockpit, the helm station is fitted with two Garmin large format multi-function displays for navigation and the CZone system provides the status of many of the yacht’s electric functions.

The flybridge, with a full upper helm, has large wraparound lounge area, a dining table and the option for a wet bar with sink and refrigerator. The swim platform can be fitted with a tender cradle and there is a large lazarette for storage of watersports equipment.

The Okean 50 has a fuel reserve of 1600L, fitted with Volvo Penta D6 2 x 435 with IPS 600 to vessel, is capable of a top speed of 26 knots.
