Marcus Millard is not new to marine and finance industries. He was born into a marine manufacturer sales family, growing up and working on the Marinas of Pittwater in Sydney from the age of 12. He started out running fuel wharfs and hire boat companies, and moved on to selling on the weekends for franchise dealers. He then pursued a career in automotive design engineering with the likes of BMW in Germany and Mitsubishi in Japan. From here Marcus moved back to his roots working in the local marine manufacturer brokerages.

Once settling into the Gold Coast way of life, Marcus took particular interest in the finance aspect of the industry. After working with a multi-franchised dealer on the Gold Coast as a finance associate, Marcus left the company to start his own. He started Millard Financial. His diverse automotive and marine sales experiences along with the exposure to marine and automotive finance has positioned Marcus within the industry to offer a full finance service.
