Seawasp Australia is your one-stop shop for marine solutions, servicing government agencies, commercial fishermen and pleasure craft for over 40 years within Australia and abroad.
Proudly manufacturing the Seawasp brand of generators in Murarrie, the company also distributes and supports FPT Fiat powertrain technologies (formerly IVECO Motors), Paguro Marine Generators, Honda Marine Outboards, Sole Diesel Engines and Nanni Diesel Engines and Saildrives.
Seawasp prides itself on quality technical advice and ongoing service of marine engines and generators. They are experts at engine rebuilds of these major brands. Along with extensive spare parts support, Seawasp also carries a range of second hand parts, marine generators and engines.
Seawasp is managed by Stewart Butler, who has over 30 years experience in the marine industry. Stewart is widely respected in the boating and fishing industry, he is a qualified diesel mechanic and former Australian manager of Lees Industries. Stewart possesses a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of marine equipment and service. With a hands on approach from start to finish, he prides himself on providing personal service and ongoing support.
The Service Division is proudly managed by Drewe McCoan, who has extensive knowledge and expertise. He is a qualified marine diesel mechanic, with over 20 years experience in the marine industry. While the Spare Parts Department is managed by Adam Allen who has over 25 years experience and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all brands, particularly the FPT range.
Seawasp is centrally located on the Brisbane River at the Rivergate Marina and Shipyard in Murarrie. The shipyard includes a 12,000 sqm hardstand with 75 and 300 tonne travel lifts on site. The marina offers 105 berths and deep water access for vessels up to 80m in length. The Seawasp workshop opens directly onto the hardstand, making it an ideal location for boats of all shapes and sizes, to complete refits, maintenance works and repairs.
Seawasp ensures competitive pricing on all products and services, and guarantees a high level of satisfaction for customers. There is no job too big or small for the Service Division, also offering service offsite and onboard vessels, with four mobile vehicles.
