Multifunction displays, digital controls, joystick operation, engine monitoring displays, thrusters, and widely spaced main engines make operating the Aquila 44 Yacht easily accomplished by a single couple.
“The fresh approach to design has seen Aquila fully utilise the layout potential, instead of just taking the traditional path of pushing bedrooms into the hulls,” Gavin Ward, Dealer Principal at Spectrum Marine explains.
“Aquila have reimagined the forward section to create a superb master cabin which stretches across the full beam of the boat. This means they can deliver a master suite which is the equivalent of many monohull boats over 60-feet.” The owners’ master suite is on the saloon level making for easy access, and features a full-size, walk-around king bed, unlike many traditional catamarans where beds are hard against the wall.
“On the starboard side you can sit down at the desk in the office area, which also features hanging space for clothes,” adds Gavin. “There is also an option to install a washer/dryer. The portside rounds off the complete suite and features a well-appointed bathroom with ample space for your daily needs.
“This reimagining of design starts with an open attitude towards optimising every space within your Aquila 44, whilst ensuring we can deliver the peak performance and stability characteristics that can be uniquely delivered in a purpose-designed power cat.”
