Marina Mirage Marina is often hailed as the Gold Coast’s premier boating destination. Can you tell us what makes it so special?
Eva: Thank you! Marina Mirage Marina truly is a unique gem on the Gold Coast. Our location in Main Beach offers breathtaking waterfront views and easy access to the Gold Coast Seaway. The marina has undergone significant redevelopment recently. Can you tell us more about that?
Brett: Certainly. The marina underwent a complete transformation in 2020/21, led by GCMarine. We demolished the existing structure and rebuilt it to meet modern standards. We reopened in September 2021 with 76 premium berths that can accommodate vessels ranging from 12 to over 70 metres. This redevelopment has allowed us to host some of the world’s finest superyachts and cruisers, earning us titles like Marina of the Year (under 140 boats) and recognition as an International Level 3 Clean Marina and Fish Friendly Gold Anchor Marina.
That sounds incredible! What are some of the standout features and amenities at Marina Mirage?
Eva: One of our standout features is La Luna Beach Club, Australia’s first floating beach club. It’s a luxurious spot where guests can relax on sunbeds, swim in the pool, and enjoy a variety of cocktails. The menu at La Luna is inspired by Mediterranean flavors and includes fresh seafood, grilled meats, vibrant salads, and options for vegetarians and vegans. We also have live performances by a saxophonist and a DJ, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.
La Luna Beach Club sounds like a must-visit destination. What other facilities do you offer to your guests?
Brett: We offer a range of exceptional facilities, including the Milon Health Club, which is recognised as the best gym on the Gold Coast. It provides yoga and Pilates classes, along with tailored fitness sessions aimed at enhancing strength and flexibility. The gym is conveniently located near the marina, offering guests an exclusive fitness experience. Additionally, we have private bathroom and shower amenities, 24-hour security, and a marine concierge service to cater to all our guests’ needs.
